What is email forwarding?

Email forwarding sends messages from your domain email address (for example: info@yourdomain.com) to another existing inbox like Gmail or Outlook.

Important: Email forwarding does not store emails — it only redirects them.

Step-by-step setup

1

Activate Email Forwarding

Go to your Domaintico dashboard → open your domain → enable Email Forwarding if available.

2

Create a forwarding address

Add the email address you want (example: info) and enter the destination email (example: yourgmail@gmail.com).

Example
Forward frominfo@yourdomain.com
Forward toyourgmail@gmail.com
3

Check MX records

Make sure your domain’s MX records point to the Domaintico email forwarding service. If you changed nameservers, verify MX records are configured at the active DNS provider.

4

Test your setup

Send a test email to your domain address and confirm it arrives at the destination inbox.

Common issues

Email not arriving?
Check MX records first. If MX records are incorrect, forwarding will not work.
Can I reply from my domain email?
Email forwarding only receives and forwards messages. To send emails from your domain, configure Gmail/Outlook “Send as” settings or use full email hosting.
Can I forward multiple addresses?
Yes. You can create multiple forwarding addresses like sales@, support@, contact@, etc.
